Happy Wednesday! Since it’s now the midpoint in the week, it’s time for a new post about a fun word I want to share with you!
This week’s word is:
- to deceive by underhanded methods; to confuse, frustrate, or throw off thoroughly or completely (as defined by the Merriam-Webster Dictionary)
This is another great example of a word that’s fun to say – in my opinion, at least – but not fun to have occur to you in real life. Corporations, the government, and other groups that are generally trying to serve their own self-interests can make fantastic bamboozlers. I hope that you don’t run into any instances of bamboozling in your life anytime soon – but at least now you might have another word [that’s PG, at least] with which to refer to it.
