The 2015 Tournament of Books quarterfinals continued today with the second match in the round. Today All The Light We Cannot See faced off against The Paying Guests.
I just finished ATLWCS so I was excited to read the verdict from the judge! I haven’t read The Paying Guests and, based on the description from the judge, I’m not sure that I’m really interested. It doesn’t sound like my kind of book, though it sounds like it’s written very well based on the words from the judge and match commentators.
You can check out the judge’s opinion and read full match commentary here. The ToB takes a break over the weekend but will return on Monday so that Annihilation can face off against An Untamed State. Have you read either of those and are you rooting for one over the other? Also, if you didn’t see my post last week, Powell’s is offering 30% off the 2015 ToB selections for a limited time!
