Last week was insanely busy…and then my phone just died so I spent a ton of time trying to sort that out. Yeesh! I have a new one now so hopefully this week is a bit calmer. Always something, right?
To start the week off on the right foot, here are some motivational quotes that I’ve picked up from barre classes. [See what I did there? Exercise puns.] My instructors are great at setting the tone to keep you holding a pose until you’re certain your muscles might just give out but these quotes could apply to anything in life.
“We all live under the same sky, but we don’t all have the same horizon.” ~ Konrad Adenauer
“There are far, far better things ahead than any we leave behind.” ~ C.S. Lewis
“Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.” ~ Neale Donald Walsch
“To live a creative life, we must lose our fear of being wrong.” ~ Joseph Chilton Pearce
- we’re all starting each day from our own unique perspectives. There’s no way to know for certain what other people see even if it feels like you’re looking at the same thing. We experience life differently and there’s nothing wrong with your experience being different from mine.
- look ahead! It’s easy to dwell on the mistakes of the past but there’s much better up ahead for each of us.
- get out of your comfort zone! The good stuff in life happens when you take chances and venture into the unknown.
- being wrong is a step on the path to greatness. Nothing truly amazing has happened through playing it safe 100% of the time.
Hope you’re having a great Monday! New book reviews coming this week – stay tuned.
