I don’t know about any of you out there in the interwebs but I did not want to get out of bed this morning. I had registered for a pilates class at 6:00 am (!!) so I had to get up at 5:15. I kept trying to determine if there was a way out of it without paying a late cancellation fee but I finally just got up. [I am not a morning person, can you tell?]
And I’m so glad that I went! I got a great workout in early and now I can relax–well, aside from work–for the rest of the day. Sometimes you just have to do the things you know are good for you even if you don’t really want to.
On that theme, I’ve rounded up a few quotes to motivate you to go out there, take chances, and just do it!
“All our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them.” ~ Walt Disney
“The most effective way to do it, is to do it.” ~ Amelia Earhart
“Only put off until tomorrow what you are willing to die having left undone.” ~ Pablo Picasso
“I find that when you have a real interest in life and a curious life, that sleep is not the most important thing.” ~ Martha Stewart [this one is a big reminder to myself!]
“Believe you can and you’re halfway there.” ~ Theodore Roosevelt
“Life is what happens to you while you’re busy making other plans.” ~ John Lennon (one of my favorite all-time quotes, from the song Beautiful Boy)
So get out there and seize the day! It sounds simplistic but the only person who’s really stopping you is you. Overcoming the negative thoughts in your own mind is the biggest hurdle!
