30 Day Writing Challenge: Day 25

Standard

30 Day Writing Challenge goals

Day 25: Think of any word. Search it on Google images. Write something inspired by the 11th image.

Here’s the thing–if you ask me to think of any word, I will automatically not be able to think of one. It’ll be like all words have been simultaneously erased from my brain. And then I have to write about it?! Will my word even be interesting enough? This is the main issue I face with writing in general–censoring myself–so I’m just going to pick a word and go with it.

My word is graffiti, and this is the 11th image on Google search for it. I have chosen to write a haiku inspired by this image.

Crazy white hair and
a giant Flavor Flav chain–
Einstein meets hip-hop.

Sporting a hoodie,
sideways tilted baseball hat–
Al keeps things stylish.

Who’s that on the left?
Disney’s “Big Bad Wolf”, perhaps–
sniffing Einstein’s cap.

The background’s a mix
of random colors and styles–
all things intertwined.

A blue tentacle?
An A? Shifting shapes and signs–
four quadrants, unique.

What drives this art style?
Here today, gone tomorrow–
just passing, like life.
