The holidays are over, a new year has begun and, for me, that means getting back on track with my calorie and nutrition goals. As technology advances, I’m constantly impressed with its ability to make my life easier – and that includes in areas of nutrition and fitness. Here are some haikus about fitness-related things I’m thankful for this week.
Somehow it’s already Thursday–not that I’m complaining–so I’m going to do another ‘Thankful Thursday’ post. I’ve been so busy I haven’t done one of these in a few weeks, though I’ve definitely been thankful for a lot!
This week (and every day, really) I’m quite thankful for my husband. Tuesday was our 8th wedding anniversary–how the time has flown! It honestly doesn’t seem possible but I’m incredibly happy for every moment I get to spend with him.
Outside of a bakery two doors down from our vet’s office, we saw an old woman sitting on the sidewalk. I can call her an old woman without feeling bad – the wrinkles were deeply etched into her face and she had seen a good amount of time in the sun. I didn’t think much about it; I was on a quest for coffee while waiting for vet results.
